In somewhat surprising news, OG have confirmed the departure of their former carry SumaiL, along with the return of their two-time TI winning offlaner, Ceb.
OG didn’t revealed any official reason for the roster change, but it is safe to assume that due to the impact COVID-19 and the uncertainty of Dota 2 LANs, it makes sense. SumaiL is located in the US and has been playing with a substantial ping for tournaments. This would also effect the quality of boot camps as timezones, latency, and even the lack of team bonding would all be subpar for an organisation such as OG.
MidOne, who has left SEA to be with his team in Europe, will take over as OG’s position one as Ceb returns to his familiar offlane position.
Do you believe this roster change is due to COVID-19? Team Secret have taken to Twitter and revealed that this has been their plan all along! MidOne, however, didn’t quite see the funny side…

The new OG roster will officially play their first tournament at DotaPit on July 27.
