SteelSeries Releases Arctis 7X and Arctis 7P

SteelSeries, a huge name in esports and console peripherals, has finally announced today the first gaming headsets specifically made for the next generation of consoles. The Arctis 7X and Arctis 7P take the best parts from the Arctis 7 and add the wireless USB-C dongle from the Arctis 1 Wireless, to create a unique audio experience for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Arctis 7 was a fantastic headset which won more awards than any other gaming headset, you can check out our review here.

“The start of a new console generation is one of the most anticipated events for gamers everywhere,” said Ehtisham Rabbani, SteelSeries CEO. “While this new generation of consoles will continue to push the boundaries of resolution, visual fidelity and console frame rates, we are committed to bringing a new audio experience to gamers, worthy of a new generation. We believe that the new Arctis 7X and Arctis 7P will be, hands down, the favorite wireless gaming headsets among console gamers for this new generation of consoles.”

Arctis 7X – The Best Wireless Headset in Gaming Comes to Xbox Series X|S

The SteelSeries Arctis 7X is made specifically for next-gen wireless audio on the Xbox Series X|S, with full backwards compatibility with all Xbox One consoles.

Using a wireless 2.4GHz USB-C dongle, gamers can swap between gaming on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile easier than ever. Following the Arctis line, the Arctis 7X uses the same high-quality speaker drivers as the Arctis 7, featuring the Arctis soundscape, emphasizing subtle, yet critical sounds to give gamers an audio advantage in their favourite games.

With 24 hours battery life, Discord-certified ClearCast noise-cancelling microphone, on-headset controls and of course the comfy Ski google design the Arctis 7X sounds almost too good to be true. The Arctis 7X is available now globally for $149.99 US.

Arctis 7P – The Best Wireless Headset in Gaming Comes to PlayStation 5

The Arctis 7P includes all the same features as the Arctis 7X, but uses a smaller wireless USB-C dongle, due to its lack of Xbox compatibility. The Arctis 7P is fully compatible with PS5 and is also backwards compatible with PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile devices.

The Arctis 7P comes in a visually stunning white and blue obviously to match the PS5 console, or if matching isn’t your thing they also come in a sleek black version. It is now available globally for $149.99 US.
