Hot off the release of their new truly wireless in-ear headphones, the ATH-CKS50TW, Audio-Technica has taken one of their best selling everyday headphones, the ATH-M20x, and added the freedom of wireless technology with the release of its ATH-M20xBT wireless over-ear headphones.
The ATH-M20xBT features everything audiophiles has come to expect from Audio-Technica’s award-winning M-Series studio headphones; studio-quality audio, exceptional durability, and value for money that consumers always appreciate – and best of all, the ATH-M20xBT is no different.
Despite being the introductory model to the M-Series range, the ATH-M20xBT is anything but with large 40mm drivers capable of delivering a natural, full-range soundstage, closed-back design that is perfect for all music types, Bluetooth wireless technology that includes multi pairing technology, and an impressive battery life of up to 60 hours of continuous playback from just one charge. There is also a USB-C connection for quick charging technology, which can provide 3 hours of continuous playback from just 10 minutes of charging, just in case 60 hours isn’t enough!
The physical design of the ATH-M20xBT takes a minimalistic approach, ensuring that the headphones retain their identity, yet Audio-Technica has still been able to make improvements on this from its predecessor by the addition of physical buttons located on the left ear-cup for controlling audio playback, along with a built-in microphone for phone calls to take full advantage of its Bluetooth capabilities.
The ATH-M20xBT is available now from retailers in-store or online at Audio-Technica.com for $169 AUD.
