Bethesda Next-Generation Console Upgrades

Two of Bethesda’s biggest titles The Elder Scrolls Online and DOOM Eternal are coming to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5! The best news is that players who purchase the game on current-gen consoles will be able to upgrade for free to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game when they release. Bethesda has also gone on record to say that players who have already purchased these titles on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will get the next-gen upgrade for free! On backward compatibility, Bethesda had this to say,

Our teams are working hard to ensure both titles will support backward compatibility when the new consoles launch.”

While there is no announcement now, according to Bethesda, more information on next-gen release dates and enhancements are coming soon.

Don’t forget to check out QuakeCon at Home August 7-9 for even more information on The Elder Scrolls Online, DOOM Eternal, and many other Bethesda titles.
