Community Created Maps are Coming to Skater XL on Xbox One

Skater XL – Community Created Maps!

Less than a month away from launch, Skater XL announced that there will be new community-created content available with the full release of Skater XL on July 28.

New content is coming in the form of three new maps created by the Skater XL modding community. Each spot has additional visual enhancements that were made in collaboration with Easy Day’s art team and the mods authors. All community-made content will be available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Grant Skate Park by Theo

Grant Skate park is one of Chicago’s premier public skateparks. Created by modder turned Easy Day Studios team member Theo, this version of the real-life park holds true to its counterpart, with only small tweaks being made to optimize gameplay. The park features three acres of terrain that includes street and transition obstacles and has an overall focus on flow.

Streets by Jean Olive

Prolific map creator Jean Olive has mashed up street spots inspired by the gnarliest terrain in the skateboarding world and created “Streets.” “Streets” spans several city blocks of skateable territory and combines skate spots from all over the world. Featuring San Francisco style hills to the unique skateable architecture of Spain. Skaters will recognize spots from all LA, NYC, and more as well as experience Jean Olive’s own creative designs.

Hűdland Training Facility by Pactole

“Hudland” is every skater’s dream private skatepark. An original creation by Pactole, the park is packed full of street and transition features. A warehouse setting gives the map a unique feeling and makes any player feel like a pro getting in practice before hitting the streets. Including flat bars, stairs, hips, handrails, quarterpipes, and more, the park will keep players perfecting lines for hours.

Skater XL will launch on July 28 on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
