CORSAIR has announced a new case to its ever growing line up. The 220T RGB Airflow Smart Case, with strong cooling performance and full iCUE software integration. My immediate attention was drawn to the adequate front cutouts for air intake. Could this be the end of current trends, no more solid front panels.
The CORSAIR iCUE 220T RGB Airflow has been “meticulously designed for powerful and efficient cooling” The removable steel front panel will allow for high airflow into the case supported by an internal layout that directs that cool air where needed the most.
CORSAIR has included three SP120 RGB PRO fans that feature addressable RGB LEDs, high airflow and static pressure and optimized for low-noise operation with a maximum speed of 1,400 RPM. The 220T RGB Airflow supports options for up to 6x 120mm fans, up to 4x 140mm fans, or multiple radiators in sizes up to 360mm.
Also included is the new CORSAIR iCUE Lighting Node CORE, allowing up to six of the same CORSAIR RGB fans, without the need for a separate fan hub.
The Lighting Node CORE integrates with CORSAIR iCUE software, giving you full customization over lighting.
The 220T RGB Airflow rocks a single edge-to-edge tempered glass side panel, storage options allowing up to four drives, flexible cable routing channels and a full-length PSU cover. I would have liked to see an option for vertical GPU mount but with adapters from other vendors, its not a deal breaker.
