Ghost Recon Wildlands is getting one last major update from Ubisoft to say thank you for the support from their fans. The update will introduce “Mercenaries” mode which is an eight-player, free-for-all PvPvE. It will see their Agents locate gear, locate and reach the extraction point, and be the first to board the chopper. So it basically like a small battle royale mode that is the popular thing at the moment.
At the beginning of each game you will be dropped into the heart of Bolivia, with no known extraction point and you will have no weapons or gear. You will need to locate and activate radio transmitters all the while fighting with AI soldiers and battling against other players. You will need to activate 3 transmitters to call out a chopper to the extraction point which well then end in a bloody battle royale gun fight to determine the winner.
As a little extra thank you, Ubisoft are giving players a “Lone Wolf” costume pack to every player when the complete their first game. A few extra’s can be obtained with how many wins a player can get for your 1st Win s Mercenary Patch, 3rd Win a Mercenary pair of Pants, 5th Win a Mercenary Heavy Vest, their 10th Win a Jacket Army Mercenary, for the 15th Win a Mercenary Heavy Vest with Shoulder Pads and players who get their 25th Win will receive a Mercenary Backpack.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is available now for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The Mercenaries update will be getting released tomorrow as part of a big patch update for Wildlands. If you would like to know more about the patch check it out here.
