I can only assume it is because you don’t have a suitable VR setup, which is a shame. For those expecting a true successor to Half Life 2 will be disapointed as Valve’s Robin Walker previously explained that Alyx will be “our return to this world, not the end of it.”
The inital response to Half Life: Alyx has been more-or-less, AMAZING! When considering that Alyx is only playable on VR platform, a niche platform that many people dislike, it is amazing to see a huge title finally give the technology the exposure it deserves. This is a huge step in the right direction and possibly opens the door for Half Life 3 to FINALLY begin development? Or maybe it already has?
