HyperX release the Alloy Origins Core Tenkeyless RGB Keyboard in Australia

Bigger isn’t always better – There is something that I find quite attractive about a Tenkeylesskeyboard. Is it the size? Is it because they’re less common? or is it simply because there is less keys for my fat fingers to accidently press? I’m not sure, but I’m sure one of those reasons is why HyperX has finally released the Alloy Origins Core to the land down under!

“HyperX is excited to release the new Alloy Origins Core featuring HyperX red mechanical switches,” said HyperX. “The Alloy Origins Core was designed specifically for TKL keyboard fans, offering gamers a high-performance HyperX RGB tenkeyless keyboard option.”

Unfortunatly the Alloy Origins Core doesn’t feature HyperX’s newest HyperX Aqua Mechanical Switches that were annoucned at CES 2020, instead it features the ultra-reliable and high-performing HyperX Red mechanical switches, which isn’t a bad thing by any means. This TKL beast also features RGB exposed backlit keys, a sexy aircraft-grade aluminum body and perhaps the most underated feature of this keyboard, its detachable USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable.

As I have previously mentioned, I have fat fingers, and HyperX have answered my constant bombardment of emails concerns by including a Custom Game Mode feature with the Alloy Origins Core. The Custom Game Mode feature allows gamers to disable any keys they simply do not use, eliminating the chance of accidently pressing them when your clutching 1v5, this means that our resident FPS gamer Jimmy will be disabling every key except a, s, d, w, space, and Ctrl.

What keyboard isn’t complete without your own personal RGB touch? HyperX NGENUITY software allows for customisation of lighting and macros for up to three profiles.
