HyperX team up with The Chiefs Esports Club

The Chiefs Esports Club is one of the biggest esports organisations in ANZ, and with their recent announcement today prove that they have no intensions of slowing down — Today HyperX announced their new partnership with the four-time OPL champion; Chiefs Esports Club. Since 2014, the Chiefs have proved that their first championship in 2014 was no fluke, repeating their success in both 2015 and 2016, establishing themselves as one of the biggest esports orgs across Oceania.

“HyperX is a real leader in performance-driven gaming peripherals and equipment so we’re extremely excited to be working alongside the brand,” said Nick Bobir, Managing Director of The Chiefs. “Being one of the most iconic brands in the esports and gaming industry, HyperX not only supports our professional teams and content creators, but also shares our same level of passion for grassroots gaming, esports, and community activations. We’re looking forward to working together through 2020 and beyond.”

HyperX will be the Chiefs official gaming peripherals and internals sponsor, building both brands reputation across the Ocencia region. HyperX didn’t stop there as they have also confirmed that they’ve signed former Carlton Blue and current Brisbane Lions AFL star Mitch Robinson as an official brand ambassador. Oh, Mitch is also pretty handy with Fortnite. Being a huge Carlton fan, I’ve had the pleasure of not only meeting him a few times, but also following his AFL career and enjoy listening to his podcast Rip Through It (a must for any AFL fan). Mitch recently hosted a 24-hour live charity stream on Twitch, which raised over $12,000AUD for NSW Rural Fire Services.
