Good news for all you die hard Mortal Kombat fans as MK11 is getting an expansion on the single player story mode as confirmed by Netherrealm Studios Today. The expansion named Mortal Kombat11: Aftermath will not only continue the game’s story but will also introduce the iconic Half man, half machine, all cop… Robocop to the roster of fighters.
The video above shows that the story expansion is taking place directly after the end of Mortal Kombat 11 and see Liu Kang and Raiden teaming up with that old slimey snake Shang Tsung to help rebuild history… lets be honest, Shang Tsaung is always going to turn on them here in the end. lol A couple of old familiar faces are back as well including Fujin the God of wind and Sheeva, but lets be honest, we are all here for that 80’s icon RoboCop. The original actor Peter Weller has also returned to provide his voice for the role of Robocop too.
Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will launch for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Stadia on May 26. For all our previous coverage on Mortal Kombat 11 you can find that here.
