NVIDIA today launched the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti powered by 12th-Gen Turing Architecture. Set to be the new sweet spot for 1080p gamers.
With NVIDIA claiming up to 3x Faster Than GTX 960, 1.5x Than GTX 1060 and 4x more power efficient than Pascal based GPU’s. NVIDIA really have a knack filling any market gaps… Stating “It’s an excellent and cost-effective upgrade for those who want to enjoy dramatically faster frame rates in their favorite titles.”
The GeForce GTX 1660 Ti features 1,536 CUDA cores, 6GB of GDDR6 memory running at 12Gbps and a boost clock of almost 1.8 GHz. With NVIDIA saying “can be easily overclocked for further performance”
Benchmarks now starting to surface, reporting 120 frames per second at 1080p in Fortnite, PUBG and Apex Legends all with out much sacrifice on quality settings.
Available now worldwide, starting at $279 with most board partners releasing brand specifics on designs and features.
