Overwatch fans have been buzzing thanks to the news flooding out of Blizzcon 2019, with Overwatch 2 is a big one. Blizzard are adding a ton of new features aswell as a new hero, Sojourn. Fans will also be treated to 4 new maps for their PvP competitive mode which I will run through below.
This map obviously set in Canada which ties up nicely with the next hero Sojourn which you guessed it, is Canadian. This map is specifically designed for the Push game mode as the path runs through a metro area next to a ice rink, hockey player statue and ofcourse the signature maple trees. Expect players to say sorry after every elimination!
Gothenburg is the second-largest Swedish city in real life, in Overwatch we are yet to experience it though. It is however the birthplace of such hero’s as Torbjörn Lindholm and Brigitte Lindholm.
Well its not hard to guess what Monte Carlo was going to look like, real life really, a lush and wealthy map, riches as far as the eye can see! They better have the Casino de Monte Carlo opened and ready for me to lose!
Finally last but not least, Rio de Jarneiro
Rio de Jarneiro bascally recreates the streets of the Brazilian city on a granite peak with cable cars to its summit while the city is also known for its sprawling favelas tight streets. I wonder if we will get a glimpse of the Christ the Redeemer statue?
