Roccat has been teasing something big for a few days now and finally, the German’s have revealed what we have all been waiting for — The Burst Pro Optical Gaming Mouse. The Burst Pro is Roccat’s first mouse to feature its newest switch, the Titan Optical Switch, which is sure to please gamers with its lightning-fast performance, high-level of precision, and lightweight design.
Roccat first unveiled its Titan Optical Switch, along with the Vulcan Pro and TKL Pro last week, and it’s obvious that Roccat hasn’t wasted any time incorporating this technology into a mouse. What makes Roccat’s Titan Optical Switch so unique is its use of a light beam rather than traditional mechanical actuation components. This technology is able to provide a reaction time of up to 40 times faster than classic mechanical switches. So it is no surprise that Roccat wasted little time in announcing the Burst Pro.
The Burst Pro is much more than a mouse with a fancy switch — The Burst Pro featured an all-new symmetrical and ergonomic shape that is as light as it looks; 68g in fact. This is thanks to its use of a honeycomb translucent shell that also allows the Burst Pro to showcase Roccat’s AIMO intelligent lighting like no other mouse can. The Burst Pro is also the first mouse to use 100% pure PTFE heat-treated glides to aid speed and dexterity, while its new PhantomFlex cable provides increased performance and life of your mouse — Not bad for a mouse under 100 bucks!
The best news is that you don’t have to wait long for the Roccat Burst Pro; November 3 to be precise for an Australian release with a RRP of $99.95AUD.
