Satisfactory to be released in early access on March 19 via Epic Game Store.

Coffee Stain Studios, the developer responsible for one of the most amusing games of 2014- Goat Simulator, have announced that their upcoming game Satisfactory will be released in early access via the Epic Games Store on March 19. I can personally guarantee that this game will be a huge success for people who suffer from Arachnopobia, thanks to the inclusion of ‘Arachnophobia mode’. Yes, that’s correct. Arachnophobia mode will turn hideous spiders into cute little cats, a real evolution in gaming.

Interested? I know I am

What is Satisfactory you ask? Well, a first-person ripoff Factorio, I’ll let Coffee Stain Studio explain this. “Satisfactory is an FPS open-world factory building sim. You play as an engineer on an alien planet tasked to complete ‘Project Assembly’ – a massive machine for a mysterious purpose. Conquer nature, build multi-story factories, and automate to satisfaction!”

When Satisfactory is launched on March 19, there will be some features not included. But there is still plenty of content included- 6 tiers full of milestones that unlocks machines, resources, equipment and vehicles, 3 different starting areas on a large handcrafted world (30km2), vehicles with automation capabilities, equipment and weapons, alien creatures and a playable multiplayer element. Coffee Stain Studios have done a great job explaining their vision of Satisfactory with a road map and a list of content to be included on the horizon. This includes more machines, resources, vehicles, equipment and weapons, gameplay improvement and optimizations, iterate on world that include exploration, landmarks, rewards and creatures, full narrative, dedicated server support and the ever so important, mod support.

You can view the more about Satisfactory here, including their entertaining FAQ section where everything is Simon’s fault.
