If you haven’t noticed, I can’t wait for The Outer Worlds. Last month we were treated to an hour of gameplay footage, today at the Tokyo Games Show we were treated to 20 minutes of gameplay footage of Obsidian Entertainment’s highly anticipated RPG.
While there is subtitles in Japanese, the gameplay footage audio is in English. It’s clear that whoever is playing the game has very little patience as they’re frantically skip cut scenes, ignore quest markers and just generally doing what they feel like, rather than showcasing all of the action you can expect with the game. Not that this is a bad thing, there’s still plenty of action and lots of things that go bang and explode! But best of all, the footage doesn’t looked staged and more like you’d actually play the game.
If you’re like me, I’m sure you can’t wait for the October 25 release date on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
