With only 90 days until Dota 2’s most prestigious event- The International 2019 begins, Valve have announced ticketing information for TI9. Tickets for the event will go on sale this coming Friday May 24th, with Dota Plus subscribers and Battle Pass owners getting first chance at purchasing tickets veggie the general public.
“To help show our appreciation for the community that supports Dota 2, Battle Pass owners and Dota Plus members with subscriptions active prior to the time of this announcement (6:00 AM on Tuesday, May 21st China Standard Time) will receive early access to purchase their tickets. Eligible users will find an access code in the Dota 2 Client”.

As you should be aware by now, TI9 is taking place at Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China and this isn’t the only significant change. Both ticket prices and ticket bundles have seen an overhaul. Gone are 4-day passes and instead are replaced with 2-day passes. These 2 day passes also see a significant price increase as well. A weekday pass will cost CNY 499 ($72 USD), while a weekend pass will cost you CNY 2099 ($304 USD). This is about a 30-40% increase over last year where a 4-day pass was $95USD and a weekend pass was $190USD.
Chinese fans can purchase their tickets via Damai beginning 12:00 PM China Standard Time on May 24th. While international purchases can be purchased via Universe at 9PM China Standard Time May 24.
